MSI QD-OLED Series Gaming Monitor Firmware Update Information

QD-OLED Gaming Monitor

Below is the update information for our MSI QD-OLED gaming monitors.

MAG 271QPX QD-OLED

Sep. 30th 2024, FW.024 Firmware update information:

1. DSC switch added to the OSD to enable DLDSR and DSR modes.
2. Added HDMI PC/Console switch in the OSD. (MAG 271QPX QD-OLED default setting is “PC” mode.)
3. Added “Power LED” switch in the OSD to allow users to turn it off.
4. Support for a variety of aspect ratios, allows selection a 24.5” option.
5. Optimize a behavior of panel protect while protect completed that depends as executing power states.
6. Fixed Color Gamut clamping while HDR is enabled. HDR mode will now store separate present mode settings.
7. Changing the naming of “Adaptive-Sync” to “FreeSync Premium Pro”.
8. Optimized multiple language issues.
9. Optimized the default setting of MSI OLED Care.
10. Input lag and latency optimization.
11. Fixed the aspect ratio of PIP Mode.

MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2

Aug. 23rd 2024, FW.022 Firmware update information:

1. Fixed the aspect ratio of PIP Mode.
2. Fixed the switch behavior of DisplayHDR between True Black 400 and Peak 1000 nits.
3. Support for a variety of aspect ratios, allows selection between a 24.5” and 27” option.
4. DSC switch added to the OSD to enable DLDSR and DSR modes
5. Fixed the noise phenomenon of headphone during Adaptive-Sync/DSC/HDMI 2.1 switching.
6. Optimized Multiple Language Issues.
7. Optimized the default setting of MSI OLED Care.
8. Added “Power LED” switch in the OSD to allow users to turn it off.

MAG 321UPX QD-OLED

Sep. 2nd 2024, FW.019 Firmware update information:

1. DSC switch added to the OSD to enable DLDSR and DSR modes.
2. Support for a variety of aspect ratios, allows selection between a 24.5” and 27” option.
3. Fixed Color Gamut clamping while HDR is enabled. HDR mode will now store separate present mode settings.
4. Changing the naming of “Adaptive-Sync” to “FreeSync Premium Pro”.
5. Fixed the aspect ratio of PIP Mode.
6. Fixed the 2560x1600@144Hz display abnormal under Screen Size 16:10 option.
7. Optimize a behavior of panel protect while protect completed that depends as executing power states.
8. Added “Power LED” switch in the OSD to allow users to turn it off.
9. Input lag and latency optimization.
10. Optimized multiple language issues.
11. Optimized the default setting of MSI OLED Care.
12. Fixed Panel Protect abnormal behavior while the “Power Button” option set to standby.

MAG 321UP QD-OLED

Nov.6th 2024, FW.014 Firmware update information:

1. Optimized the default setting of MSI OLED Care.
2. Fixed DisplayPort black screen when DSC ON.
3. Input lag and latency optimization.
4. Optimized Multiple Language Issues.

MPG 271QRX QD-OLED

Nov. 12th 2024, FW.012 Firmware update information:

1. Changing the naming of “Adaptive-Sync” to “FreeSync Premium Pro”.
2. Fixed the frame drop phenomenon in 24.5” option of Screen Size.
3. Fixed the abnormal image while turn it Optic Scope on at Screen Size 1:1 and 24.5” option.
4. Optimized a Color Format setting under DSC off. The “RGB” color format can be selected at 1440p@240Hz.
5. Update the MSI monitor booting logo.

MPG 321URX QD-OLED

Nov. 12th 2024, FW.012 Firmware update information:

1. Changing the naming of “Adaptive-Sync” to “FreeSync Premium Pro”.
2. Fixed the frame drop phenomenon in 24.5” and 27” option of Screen Size.
3. Fixed the abnormal image while turn it Optic Scope on at Screen Size 1:1, 24.5” and 27” option.
